( I ) THE BEGINNING     Long before the mortal world had words for wonder, before ink met parchment and stories found their way to eager hearts, there was Ivaria—a boundless, breathing realm of magic where every whisper of wind carried a forgotten tale. Deep within its heart stood Fablekeep, an ethereal library woven of silvered vines and starfire, holding the dreams, fables, and forgotten legends of all realms.But as ages passed, the world beyond grew distant. Stories were lost, fading into silence, and with them, Fablekeep began to wane. The Eclipsing Veil, a creeping shadow of oblivion, threatened to consume the very heart of Ivaria, devouring the lost wonders of old. Even the Forest's true name was lost, becoming known for quite sometime as Arcadia.Sensing the peril, the Elders of Storyweave, the ancient spirits who guarded Fablekeep’s tomes, made a desperate call. From the depths of dreams, from ink-stained pages, from the echoes of bedtime tales, arose a chosen few—the Luminaries.Each was bound to a different type of magic—light spun from legend, melodies infused with memory, the quill’s whispered enchantment, and the ember of untold myths. They were not just protectors of the library, but the rekindlers of wonder, seekers of forgotten lore, and bringers of warmth to a world that had started to dim.These brave chosen were able to lock away the Eclipsing Veil within a carefully crafted vessel known as the Sending Stone. It was made of the purest Sapphire, and seemingly no power was strong enough to break it's protective hold over the curse. However, not all securities remain true forever....

( II ) A DARK KNOCK     Centuries passed, and while Ivaria lived in peace, a danger lurked within its shadows.An Evil Sorceress, her name lost to the ages, waited for the right time to fulfill her dark legacy...releasing the curse of the Eclipsing Veil upon Ivaria once more. And that day did eventually arrive, during the age of Twillarin's Grandfather, a wise and illustrious leader of Ivaria.On this fateful day, a great silence befell the forest, and only the sound of shattering gemstone could be heard. The Sorceress had woven a spell of destruction that had slowly seeped into the Sending Stone's sapphire surface, until finally it could withstand the pressure no longer. In a flurry of chaos and enchanted uproar, the once carefully protected evil escaped...locking away Ivaria's magic and placing a deep slumber upon the land.With no one awake to stop them, the Curse and the Sorceress joined power, intent on unleashing their dark bidding upon the rest of the enchanted realms-at least that's what they had planned. However, there was one who remained able to stop them.

( III ) FOREST SAVIOR     It was Twillarin’s Grandfather, the last of the Storyweavers, who first sensed the Veil’s escape from the forgotten corners of existence. He fought to seal it away, weaving incantations into the very roots of Ivaria, binding the darkness with the strongest magic of all—remembrance. But the Veil was relentless, slipping through the cracks of fading belief, and it seemed as though the curse would devour the very heart of the world itself.To stop the Veil from unraveling Ivaria completely, Grandfather made the ultimate sacrifice. Calling upon the last of his magic, he sealed the Veil once more—but at the cost of his own existence. As his essence faded into the very fabric of the forest, he broke off a fragment of the legendary Sending Stone, an artifact tied to the soul of Ivaria itself. With his final strength, he placed it in Twillarin’s hand before the curse overtook her, whispering a promise that she would one day awaken.For over 300 years, Twillarin slumbered, wrapped in the spell of forgetting. Ivaria grew quiet. The world beyond continued, unaware of the magic it had lost. But the day came when the Sending Stone glowed—a faint ember of remembrance sparked by distant voices, by the stirrings of kindred souls who still believed in wonder.

( IV ) LEGACY     And so, Twillarin awoke.Weakened but determined, she realized the truth: Ivaria’s magic could not be restored by one alone. The forest’s power had always been woven from shared stories, from bonds of friendship and the joy of imagination. If she was to keep her Grandfather’s sacrifice from being in vain, she would need to seek others—kindred spirits who carried the light of forgotten tales.And so, with her faithful companion Scintilla by her side, thus began her journey to gather the Luminaries of Fablekeep- those who, like her, felt the pull of lost magic and the warmth of stories waiting to be told. Together, they would stand against the Eclipsing Veil, reigniting the heart and name of Ivaria through connection, creation, and the unyielding power of belief.As their stories continue to be shared, the Veil will never claim the last light of Fablekeep..

( V ) A DREAM LIVES ON     And so, the Luminaries of Fablekeep continue their journey, lighting the way with tales of old and new, reminding the world that even the smallest spark of magic can keep the darkness at bay.
